What is a Ceramic Coating? A ceramic coating, often referred to as a nano-coating, is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to the factory paint of your vehicle. The result is a protective layer that is incredibly thin, yet remarkably resilient. This thin layer creates a strong hydrophobic effect, making it difficult for dirt, water, and other contaminants to adhere to your vehicle's surface. In essence, it acts as a shield, providing a protective barrier against a rang of environmental factors. Ceramic coatings offer a myriad of benefits that make them game-changer in car care. They provide unparalleled paint protection, acting as a barrier against UV rays, oxidation, and various environmental contaminants, helping to maintain the luster and vibrancy of your car's finish. The hydrophobic nature of ceramic coatings repels water, making your vehicle easier to clean and reducing water spots. What is included in this package: We start off by prepping the car with the steps followed in the basic exterior detail. Next up the vehicle is mechanically decontaminated using a clay bar to remove dirt, grime, and any contamination bonded to the paint from the roads. Once the paint is smooth and free of contaminants, we perform a Machine Compound using either a Rotary Polisher or Dual Action Polisher paired with a combination of Wool pads or Microfiber pads depending on the level of correction needed. Utilizing a cutting compound cuts down as many imperfections in the paint as possible. Following the compound process, a Finishing Polish step is used to clean up any marring induced by the cutting compound and bring out extreme depth and shine in the paint work. After the final polishing step, we apply a Primer for the Ceramic Coating to ensure a proper bond to the clear coat on your vehicle. After all paint imperfections are removed, a 3-year, 5-year, or 7-year ceramic coating is hand applied. 3-Year coating is $800, 5-Year is $1,000, and 7-year is $1,200. Glass and Wheels can be coated as well for an additional cost. A full interior detail is also included in this package. All ceramic coatings come with a complimentary follow-up inspection and ceramic boost wash one week after application.
